Development of Competitive Fuel Tanks and Sunroofs
Originally, Yachiyo’s R&D department designs or tests and researches fuel tanks and sunroofs ordered by customers for their mass production. In recent years, Yachiyo developed sunroofs from a fuel filler tube opening to a tank in order to build the base as a global company, considering fuel tanks and sunroofs as a total system.
In addition, Yachiyo promotes the proposals of new R&D and techniques towards self-contained systems and self-manufacture to design, develop and produce sub-parts that are installed into these parts.
Self-contained systems and self-manufacture enable Yachiyo not only to improve their techniques but also develop new and attractive products together with material manufacturers by being involved with developing the materials.
